The company is seeking an Laboratory Technician/Product Tester with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience to join our technical team in Newark, Delaware. The individual should be a well-organized, meticulous worker whose duties will include the development and testing of nanotube-based sensors. The position requires the ability to perform various laboratory tests to determine sensor performance specifications. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual with good organization skills, the ability to pay attention to detail, and a follow-through to completion mindset. The individual must be able to take direction and be a team player.
Minimum Requirements
- BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- 2 years industry experience preferred (post degree).
- Experience with electrochemical workstations, potentiostats, pH meters, UV/Vis and infrared spectrophotometers.
- Experience in chemical or biosensors in the applied areas of clinical medicine, pharmaceutical or industrial analysis is desirable.
- Knowledge of different electrochemical techniques such as Chronoamperometry, Cyclic Voltammetry, AC Voltammetry etc.
- Statistical analysis experience.
